Krakauer is a smoked and cured pork sausage. Its slightly coarser meat is seasoned with mustard seeds and other spices. It works well with Bautz’ner Senf on a bun or alongside Sauerkraut and mashed potato.

To enjoy it at its best please cook it for about 5 minutes from chilled or for about 15 minutes from frozen. The sausages are all pre-cooked for risk free handling. To heat it and give it its nice colour and crisp bite please use a grill, a frying pan or an oven.
